What will suspension & chassis be like?
The all-new XT4 will sit in a segment that has a lot of rivals with impressive performance, Cadillac is up against a lot and if this will be the sportiest segment they have entered, no other SUV they have had to deal with this. Already looking at its closest sibling, the XT5 we can see the cut back on suspension components, not offering Magnetic Ride Control was one of them but they did include active dampening, similar to what you'd find in BMW's and the new Regal GS.
In addition Cadillac said it themselves that every new Cadillac will come out with a different suspension system so this opens up discussion on what will be offered here. Personally I think a higher performing XT4 could use Magnetic Ride Control, and all lower segments depending on what you choose either get a strut/independent five-link or active dampening.
