Glad to see that Cadillac is already expanding into other markets with the XT4. I believe this is the most affordable model that the company has ever released in Latin America.

New markets will not only allow them to expand their consumer base, but it could also open up the potential for region specific variants. Cadillac will have to listen to what the responses/reception of the XT4 is like in Mexico and make future adjustments.

The XT4 was has also been unveiled in the Middle East for the first time and I believe its expected to go on sale there early next year. This all must be part of their 10 year expansion plan.

Christian Soemmer, Managing Director, Cadillac Middle East said: “The reveal of the first-ever Cadillac XT4 in the Middle East is an important milestone and kicks off what will be, without doubt, the most aggressive product offensive in the brand’s long history.”

The M.E. loves SUV's but due to the massively positive image and love that that Lexus/Toyota gets and what's often thought about American cars, Caddy might have a tough time.

It is ironic that everyone loves the American dollar but only the faithful will buy American products!

The new tariffs on steel aren't making things any easier for American automakers. How can you pride yourself in American products when you are forced to take production overseas.

Why use imported steel? The U.S. has its own production, and it can recycle steel from all the collision and retired used cars.
